Executive Committee (Executive Board)

The Executive Committee has been regulated by Article 19 of the Company’s Articles of Association.
"The Board of Directors shall establish an Executive Committee consisting of a sufficient number of members in order to ensure that the Company’s activities and transactions are performed in the framework of the work programme and budget it has determined. The decision of establishment shall specify in detail the subjects in which the Executive Committee shall be authorized as well as their limits. The Chairman of the Executive Committee, who shall direct the activities of the Executive Committee and assume the Company’s activities and transactions, shall be determined from among the Members of the Board of Directors; however, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Executive Committee may not be the same person. While appointing the Members of the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors shall take into consideration the suggestions of the Chairman of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee shall meet upon the invitation of the Chairman at intervals required by the Company’s business. Company executives as well as third persons approved by the Chairman of the Executive Committee may also attend the meetings. All activities of the Executive Committee shall be put into writing and during each meeting of the Board of Directors, the Chairman of the Executive Committee shall give information about the work of the committee." Accordingly, the Company’s Board of Directors has decided during its Ordinary General Meeting held on June 24th, 2009 to appoint Vuslat Dogan Sabanci, who has been reelected as member of the Board of Directors, as Chairman of the Executive Board (Executive Committee), Ertugrul Ozkok as Executive Board member in charge of Broadcasting (Publishing) Affairs, Ayse Cemal Sozeri as member in charge of Advertisement Affairs, Ahmet Toksoy as member in charge of Financial Affairs and Temucin Tuzecan as member in charge of Corporate Communication Affairs, Aycin Bayraktaroglu as member in charge of Marketing Affairs, Ahmet Nafi Dalman as member in charge of Information Technologies, Ahmet Ozer as member in charge of the Management, Development of Internet Operations and the Creation of New Business Areas, Kadri Enis Berberoglu as member in charge of the Ankara Representation Affairs. The Executive Committee which is composed of the members of the Board of Directors in charge of implementation as well as the group heads meet at least once a month.
