KADRİ ENİS BERBEROĞLU
He was born in Istanbul in 1956 and is a graduate of the Avusturya Lisesi (Austrian High School) and the Boğaziçi University Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics (’80). He has performed his Master’s degree studies at the Istanbul University Faculty of Economics Department of Econometrics. He has started with journalism at the Dünya Newspaper in 1980. In order of occurance, he has been commissioned as correspondent at the newspapers Hürriyet, Cumhuriyet, Güneş, Radikal, at the news channel CNN-Türk, in Istanbul, Ankara and Bonn, as executive of the Ankara Office, as Bonn representative, Baghdad War Correspondent, as Economy Service Manager and columnist. At present, he is the Ankara Representative and columnist of the Hürriyet Newspaper. Since the establishment of the CNN Türk channel, he has been preparing and presenting an economy programme every weekday.
He has been married to his wife, who is a journalist as well, for 18 years and has one child.
He knows English and German, and is author of three published books: "20 Yıllık Domino Oyunu", "Susurluk", "Yüksekova ve Öbür Türkler".
