Hanzade Vasfiye Doğan Boyner
Hanzade Doğan Boyner, after having graduated from the London School of Economics making her B.A. degree, she has been employed as financial analyst in the Communication, Media and Technology Group of Goldman Sachs International in London. During this period, she has gained experience in terms of corporate acquisitionand merger.

Hanzade Doğan Boyner, who has made her MBA degree at the Columbia University in 1999, has returned to Turkey the same year and has established the internet service provider company Doğan On-Line. Doğan On-Line has become Turkey’s leading service provider in a very short time.

Hanzade Doğan Boyner is actually the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Doğan Gazetecilik, comprising the newspapers Milliyet, Posta, Vatan and Fanatik in its portfolio, and the Board Member of Doğan Holding.

Hanzade Doğan Boyner is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Association of Newspapers (WAN), Founder Member of the Global Relations Forum, and also member of the Brookings Institute International Association of Consulting (IAC), the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association, the Foreign Economic Relations Board, the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and Women Entrepreneurs Association.

As a part of her enterprises, she is conducting Turkey’s most successful social responsibility project, i.e. the campaign “Father, Send Me To School”. For this project, which aims at eliminating the barriers before the education of girls, donations of more than 32 million TL have been collected in four years, and invested in scholarship, dormitory and educational programmes.

Hanzade Doğan Boyner has acted at the president of the jury consisting of seven persons in the competition in Monte Carlo, in which 32 companies from 32 countries have participated, where Earnst and Young’s “The Most Successful Entrepeneur of the World” Award is offered. In 2007, Doğan Boyner has been denominated by the Fortune magazine as one of the two Turkish women influential worldwide.

Doğan Boyner is married and mother of one child.
